Actually, I figured I could dump the lad and Diane and I could have a grand time. I could pick up all of her TO's and NW's (er, Tossed-Out's and Never-Will's).

THE NAVIGATORS - 2001 is another excellent film from Ken Loach.
It deals with the disastrous privatization of British Rail, and is told from the point of view of a gang of South Yorkshire track-maintenance workers.
This film is a scathing indictment of mad bureaucracy and managerial ineptitude, and like Kes, contains some really hilarious scenes.
