On it's release in 1952 it was a big hit with the post war cinema going public and deservedly so.......
Wonderful film score and a very sad ending.............
Anyone else seen it???
As a big fan of forties and fifties war films, or films with a war theme, one of my all time favourites is the classic "Angels one five" starring John Gregson, as the inexperienced "Septic Baird" and Jack Hawkins his station commander "Tiger Small"....

Has any fan of British films not seen it? It is a classic of the stiff-upper-lip genre and a great film.

I have seen this film; I have a copy recorded off of the TV. A bit of a tear-jerker in the end, but it does tell a good story. I like Jack Hawkins in pretty much any film and I think John Gregson does a fine job. I can't help picturing him in "Genevieve", though! Poor John died quite young in real life. A great pity.
