Plot Synopsis

Lightweight musical-comedy vehicle for Gene Gerrard, his co-star Jessie Matthews would later become one of Britain’s biggest film stars. Tommy (Jessie Matthews) is the daughter of hard-up aristocrat Sir Jeremy (David Miller), she is a budding singer who falls in love with radio announcer Bill Coverdale (Gene Gerrard). Bill has somehow contrived to get himself engaged to her sister Angela (Kay Hammond), whom he doesn't love. It's all sorted out when the characters converge on a cabaret in Biarritz.
