Plot SynopsisRun-of-the-mill spy drama from Butcher's with unexpectedly good moments. Paul Maxwell heads the cast, which also includes Clare Owen, Anita West and John Sutton. Set in Baghdad, a wealthy American businessman becomes unwittingly involved in international espionage. He meets a British Intelligence officer while waiting for a return flight to London, and is persuaded to deliver a mysterious message. As a result he becomes embroiled in international espionage and jeopardizes his life. When word leaks out that he has a photographic memory and that he has seen the message, every enemy agent with an interest in the material comes after him. Asked by M15 to assist, Maxwell and his girl allow themselves to be kidnapped so that the British agents can capture the mole operating within the British secret service. |
