Plot Synopsis

The Day Will Dawn is a World War Two adventure starring Hugh Williams as Metcalfe, the masterminds of a daring sabotage plot. After being forced out of Norway by the German invasion, Metcalfe is parachuted by the Allies into Norway to lead a raid on a heavily camouflaged German U-boat installation. Aided by patriotic Norwegian seaman Alstad (Finlay Currie), Metcalfe completes his task. He is distracted when he falls in love with a local girl Kari (Deborah Kerr), who unintentionally leads him into danger.
