The Cast |
Plot SynopsisProduced at Ealing by Michael Balcon and starring Will Hay, this Ministry of Information comedy-propaganda short explaining how to deal with fire-bombs is credited to Walter Forde, but the has director subsequently disputed this. Hay returns home from work and informs his daughter (Thora Hird) that he must prepare for a lecture on incendiary bomb disposal. Then follows a couple of scenes where Hay deals with an incendiary through good luck rather than good judgement, and in the final scene his wife (Muriel George) and daughter extinguish a fire-bomb and suggest their father go for fire guard training. |
