Plot Synopsis

Basil ‘Babs’ Drayford (Bobby Howes) is a ships steward who learns he has inherited a peerage and a fortune. He becomes entangled with Helen (Pat Paterson), the daughter of Babs’ friend Dr. Neville (Hugh Dempster), who loves Helen, and persuades Babs to feign regression to childhood in order to evade marriage.
