Plot Synopsis

Drama set aboard a channel steamer bound for Calais, Lang plays a wealthy Dutch financier who has forged stock and is on the brink of exposure. When his secretary's boyfriend discovers his guilty secret he threatens to blackmail Lang; who panics and throws the man overboard. The ship’s captain organises a search party, and the soaked blackmailer is rescued. Lang realises the error of his ways.
