Plot Synopsis

Scripted by Sidney Gilliat and Leslie Arliss, Jack Ahoy is a musical romp starring comedy favourite Jack Hulbert.

Able Seaman Jack Ponsonby is an accident-prone descendant of Lord Nelson and aims to replicate his ancestor's naval heroics. Serving on a battleship bound for Chinese waters, he falls for the Admiral's daughter Patricia (Nancy O'Neil). Jack opportunity for bravery arrives when he, Patricia and her father are kidnapped and held by Chinese revolutionaries.
