Plot SynopsisThe year is 1710 and an adventurous country pub proprietress, Kit Ross (Cicely Courtneidge), decides to join the army in search of her husband who was press-ganged into the ranks of Marlborough’s forces. She dresses up as a man and sets off on a series of brave and exciting adventures. Then one day she is appointed as escort to the Duke of Marlborough (Tom Walls), and must embark on her most dangerous mission yet during the Flanders campaign. |
