Plot Synopsis

Brightly written yet mundane comedy. Malcolm McNab (Bill Fyffe) is a retired Scottish businessman who refuses to let his daughter marry a young man named Terry O'Reilly (Will Mahoney). Terry's father, Timothy, decides to visit his son in order to avoid a group of treasury agents from America who are interested in a dubious company he has set up. So he meets the McNabs, and ends up placing various bets that he inevitably loses. Then McNab decides to go into business with him. At last things are looking up. That is until the investigators turn up, demanding a few explanations.
