Plot SynopsisSporting Love (1937), a farce with a racing background adapted from the stage hit by Stanley Lupino and starring its author and Laddie Cliff as two brothers in "a continual trough of financial depression". Together the two stable owners attempt to kidnap a horse and use the money to pay off their mortgage in this mildly amusing comedy. After this there is no trace of further Hammer productions, and by the time the Second World War broke out it was no longer listed as an active British film-making company. |
