Plot Synopsis

Mask of Dust is an adequate racetrack drama with Stirling Moss amongst the guest performers. Bedevilled by injury and bad luck, Peter Wells (Richard Conte) continues his career as a racing car driver despite his wife Pat’s (Mari Aldon) opposition. After his best friend is killed his wife leaves him, he is suspended for pulling out of a race to attend his dying friend, but is later reinstated and wins his next race heroically. Later, he quits racing and his wife returns to him.
