  • Anyone visiting the BFI Reuben Library - could I ask a favour.

If anyone is intending to visit the BFI Reuben Library in the near future - I would very much like copies of the 'Village of the Damned' and 'Children of the Damned' press books.

They are in the Library on microfiche - and they can be copied. The BFI says no booking required to view microfiche.

I already have US press books for each film, but...

I'm looking for the British press book for 'Village' because the 'X' rating means all the child-related publicity used in the US goes out the window, and I've not seen much British visual advertising material for the film. One small poster to be precise.

There is also a possibility that the BFI''s 'oversize press book' is also in the microfiche collection.

For 'Children of the Damned' the British had an advertising gimmick that I would like to learn more about.

Out of pocket expenses will be compensated.

If anyone can help out please drop me a PM.
