  • Rex Tillerson

Secretary of State, fired by Donald Trump. He left quietly making no comments about Donald Trump. I understand they were close friends. Now Donald Trump has leashed out insults. Calling Rex Tillerson, dumb and lazy, not up to the job, and other comments. Well, what do you expect from a idiot like Donald Trump.

Trump has bigger worries. The walls are closing in.

People have being saying that for two years and he has survived everything from porn stars to corruption allegations, from out and out lies to absurd comments with hardly a dent in his ratings. I expect him to be there to run for re-election

Well, if Rex Tillerson is 'dumb, lazy and not up to the job' why did Trump put Tillerson in that position in the first place? An apt description of Donald himself, plus a few other choice words I can think that apply to this resident of the White House.

The unemployment rate in America is under 3 percent. Donald Trump is taking credit for this. When everyone is working, no one takes to much interest in political matters. If the unemployment rate was much higher, the first thing people do is blame the politicians. Sadly the fact that Donald Trump May be elected to a second term, is not too far fetch.

Tillerson and Trump have never been friends - I doubt he could have picked him out of a lineup before someone who was heading up his transitional team mentioned him. Tillerson was tight with Putin, knew something of how to run a big company, was the oil man personified and available. That's why he was chosen. Tillerson was a poor choice, but considering just how much of the administration still hasn't been filled out compared with previous White Houses and the fact that he had so e clue of where countries actually are, we should be grateful.

Tillerson did a lot of damage, but he was right, Trump is a moron. And he almost certainly wishes that he, as well as pretty much everyone else who has been hired and fired by the WH, had never picked up the phone in the first place. They have all been slimmed by him, and Kelly is on his way out as well.

it could be worse, and thanks to John Bolton, it probably already is. And we should not forget that the person floated to replace Nikki Haley at the UN is the current spokeswoman for the State Department, whose previous job was being on Fox and Friends. In short, she is a bimbo, who actually said that D Day was an important event in US- German relations.

yea, the walls are closing in for Trump. It's going to be the family next, and he is going to go epically shit s**t crazy at that moment, especially when the now Democrat run Congress starts up multiple investigations - there might be as many as 100 different topics for them to look at. Cohen is going to the big house, and he is not going to quietly. He went be the only one.

He does seem to be bulletproof regardless of all the allegations. I find him a loathsome character!

My mistake.I thought that Rex Tillerson and Donald Trump were on good terms. I guess not. What I like about Britmovie forums, I learn a lot. When you come down to it, I am surprised Donald Trump has any friends. The way he will backstab anyone who disagrees with him, I would not be surprise one day someone will take a gun and shoot him. But, that might be difficult, when he leaves the White House, he will have secret service protection the rest of his life.

The unemployment rate is three percent now. Will it stay that way? The stock market doesn't think so. And his trade war is really going to hit the economy next year. It is clear now Mueller is gunning for him and building a case of collusion with Russia. If the economy starts to sour, and it doesn't have to be a recession, the unemployment rate can just creep up, what will that do to his poll numbers? With three percent unemployment, the best he can do is 42%. The story we hear is he can't be convicted of impeachment because Republucans control the Senate. If it is just sex stuff, probably. If the economy slumps, and there is firm evidence of collusion, I think he is toast. Senate Republicans will happily dump Trump to get Pence in the top slot for the 2020 election.

He is definitely an loathsome character but I don't believe he is as dumb as some suggest. He plays perfectly to his chosen audience, he has a good number of Americans convinced he speaks for them- that isn't dumb luck. In fact, we now see and outbreak of 'mini' Trumps around the world seeking to emulate his success.
