    R.I.P.

A great loss. An outstanding actress and a great beauty. She and Liv should have won Oscars for their performances in Persona (1966). Obviously her death is marked by the Ingmar Bergman foundation here: http://www.ingmarbergman.se/en/person/bibi-andersson. If it's in Swedish go to top right for English version. She was in many of his great films, most notably as Mia in Det Sjunde Inseglet (1957) and Sara in Smultronstället (1957), as well as the Nurse in the forementioned Persona. I also liked her in En Passion (1969).

Jan Holmberg, CEO of the Ingmar Bergman Foundation, has posted a blog in tribute to Bibi on the site: http://www.ingmarbergman.se/en/blog/...sson-1935-2019. Also check Henrik Bæckström's youtube site for the 1971 Dick Cavett interview with Ingmar Bergman to promote the film Beröringen/The Touch, parts 4&5 feature Bibi (who stars in the film) being interviewed.
