  • Fawlty Towers - Uncredited Speaking Parts

I very much enjoy Fawlty Towers and have watched the episodes many times. As a keen autograph collector I have written to many of the actors over the years and have studied the programme in close detail. There are 7 actors/extras who were not credited in the credits but who had a line or two to say.

6 of them I am aware of as follows:

Gary Rich - Newspaper Boy - A Touch of Class

But there is one, the CID Officer from A Touch of Class which I am unsure of, IMDB gives two CID officers, Pat Milner and David Waterman, perhaps someone will be able to identify.

      I'm sure that's Garth Watkins:

As he appeared in the Public Eye episode John VII, Verse 24 (1971).

If it is Garth, he was also a hotel guest in The Kipper and the Corpse.

          Hi there

Interesting post on the greatest sitcom ever made ( I dare anyone to argue!) Whose autographs have you managed to get?

Ignore the second post. I thought the first one hadn't got posted as a triangle flashed up with an exclamation mark in it!

I did have autographs for over 70 different actors from the show but had to sell them last year for personal reasons.
