  • I've tried to download from Photobucket onto here, but every way I try, it just comes up "invalid image".

    • I'm going to try the 'Share Photos' option:

Doesn't look good from my point of view.

Doesn't look as good as storing the image on PhotBucket and then storing the URL of the image in your comment

Even though it is only showing as a thumbnail, when you click on it you'll see it's still a large image. Which means that the full image is still being stored on the BritMovie site

As they await the results of their surgery examinations smoking their healthy cigarettes, Tony Britton ponders if it might be better if he opened a bistro and William Roache wonders if he might get a week or two's employment in a TV soap

Jack Dearlove is among the anxious ones waiting for the pomposity of the results announcement as Tony rushes to meet his girlfriend Miss Pamela Benson-Gray, a most atypical role for Miss Vanessa Redgrave

As the Royal College of Surgeons of England trumpet the great news to Tony, I see John Tatum, Pat Ryan, Reg Thomason and Jeff Silk among the magnanimous failures. Pat appears again near the end of the film as an attendant called Lucas at a drug rehabilitation hospital

Tony and Vanessa and her lipstick are all friendly with Carl Mohner in the lobby of the Royal Hospital as Norman Fisher dithers around in the background, but still makes sure the camera catches him

Vanessa's dad plays Pamela's dad and although he's not quite in the Sir Lancelot Spratt league of condescension, the junior docs still feel they need to hang on his words every bleeding time, and that includes John Gale on the left and John Payne on the right.

At the nearby drugs specialist unit at Littleton Park House, Sister Joan Hickson looks on admiringly as Doctor Jack Hedley lets a shocked Tony know the No Smoking rule doesn't just apply to reefers.

Reporter Guy Standeven and Photographer Reg Thomason listen incredulously to porn star Linda Coombes (Back to Camera) tale of being ravished by the Sex Thief. James Aubrey behind Guy, is another of the scribblers.

A couple of aaagh moments in this, the Prison Chief Warder and Court Chambers Assistant were familiar but i could't think of the names.
I think i made an error with the 'Army Man' it is more likely Peter Diamond, the young Nosher and Peter look similar when wearing headgear.

                • What Men Live By in 1938 is finding a title in which there is not a preposition at the end, or perhaps:

And Vi Kaley and Anna Russell as Mrs. Lee, two kindly ladies which the parish is surely proud of.

It was on Talking Pictures TV, so it's likely to be on again, although I can't immediately see it in their forthcoming schedule.

Not sure what happened with the first picture of Guy & Reg. so here are our likely lads again. Hope they appear both logged in or out.

Looks like Bob Raymond in the front row, and definitely Ernest Blyth peeking over his head. Paul Beradi can be seen for one frame before he disappears behind the column, too.

Edwin Fowles and James Ure behind the Bill Shine lookalike, and maybe Barry Johns in the shades.

The waiter delivering the message to Vladek Sheybal is Robert Vossler, and as Sheybal leaves we can quickly see Michael Dempsey and Alf Casha in the crowd (i naddition to Aileen Lewis and Juba Kennerly, who I think have already been noted).
