More unlikely Chinese (Charles Lloyd Pack and Roger Delgado) join Christopher as, in the background, a gleeful Philip Stewart hauls a young lady of easy virtue towards the stairs

And even unlikelier Chinese worker in the neighbourhood opium den is Del Watson, ready for a tussle with Geoff.

Next to Chinese Charles, Steven Scott and Cyril Shaps as the Red Dragon Tong Opium and Protection chiefs. Cyril is dubbed, which is curious given that Hammer had Cyril dub characters in other films for them

          • Catch Us If You Can (1965) is a fitting title for the often fleeting appearances of uncredited cast and that's certainly the case here. Caught so far in addition to those not already sighted:

. . . which amuses the four stooges, the butchers' numbers being swollen here by Jim Brady as 1 and Maurice Bush as 4. I didn't see Alf Mangan though.

Poor David Spenser has to undergo some nastiness from George Pastell with Roger Delgado looking on from the left and Walter Randall holding a bowl for something probably even nastier at the back

The comb-over is quite nasty too (it belongs to Steven Scott), but John Harvey has an acceptable Scottish accent while Ishaq Bux behind him has nothing to say

Allan has just said something nasty to this porter, surely Bill Cummings, who's read the script and knows that Allan is going to get his comeuppance in a few scenes' time.

Still no sign of Ewen Solon though.

                            • It looks like half the extras in Britain would have been on call for Half a Sixpence (1967), but unfortunately not too many of them are discernible. Those that are include:

There's quite a lot of pastel photography from Geoffrey Unsworth during the film including in this promenade scene with Julia Foster and Tommy Steele. They're coyly trying to chat each other up so miss the father walking behind them who I think is Bill Baskiville

Tommy's moved up in the world by the time he joins this audience with Penelope Horner, Pamela Brown and James Villiers. Next to James is Tony Mendleson and in the row behind I see Jack Hetherington and Paul Beradi.
