Octopussy (1983) has been covered before, but venturing deep into the lower depths, some more tentacles can be seen:
The British Ambassador's aide closes the door, but John Rogers can just be spotted at the function . . .
. . . the aide being Walter Henry bringing the bitter news to the Ambassador (Patrick Barr) that they've run out of Ferrero Rocher
The news has even hit Moscow where Charlie Price and Eric Kent try to accept it stoically or sovietly
Though Gary Dean next to Walter Gotell tends to panic along with an over-the-top Steven Berkoff. The chairman is Paul Hardwick. Gary re-appears as an auction attendee at Sotheby's.

At the auction:
Jim Delaney is unable to find a seat. The owner of the thinning white hair in the foreground will be revealed shortly
Even though Douglas Wilmer and Roger Moore are two Sherlocks, they fail to detect Jack Ross behind them
The late Philip Voss is the auctioneer with Mike Reynell displaying not an elaborate Ferrero Rocher but a Fabergé Egg. The attendant second left is Lew Hooper who can be seen later in a photograph as Octopussy's daddy - not Dr. Octopussy, but Major Dexter Smythe. I'm not sure if that is Robin Burns next to Lew
The gentlemen at the door, including John Triplett and Bill Hemmings, might not be so glum if they realised Kristina Wayborn was pushing in from the back.

Rog has a quiet word with Douglas, as he's spotted Gerry Judge and Otto Friese are sitting in the row behind them
Kristina now consults with Louis Jourdan as she's aware of Henry Roberts on the left and Rodney Cardiff on the right. And the thinning white hair at the back is that of Charles Adey-Grey
When they stop putting their heads together, Gerald Paris emerges.

Outside, as the bidders break up, Harry Van Engel strides over the road from the left. No doubt he's in hurry to get to the airport as he is seen later in India at the hotel casino. The henchman in the turban is the formidable Kabir Bedi
007 is rightly wary of an even more formidable foe, John Tatum in his brown suit, miserable even to the back of his head
A far more affable Ron Gregory follows Roger out.

Also, I think I can confirm that the other front row woman is Nancy Adams, because here she is on the left in Survivors in 1977, recognisably the same:

Those clinging on as Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush in 1967:
Barry Evans surrounded by Mrs. Kelly (Marianne Stone) and her tough baked beans-guzzling husband (Terry Downes)
Maybe there's a baked beans stall at the church bazaar where Pearl Walters joins Sheila White and Cavan Kendall.

Barry is led further astray by Nicky Henson when they arrive at a casino club where the easy-going doorman Ray Marioni . . .
. . . though in the very next shot, Ray is a croupier with Victor Harrington and John Tatum on either side of him. The waiter . . .
. . . is the ever-charming Emil Stemmler, serving a dodgy-looking cocktail to Barry and Angela Scoular.

When Bond has A View to a Kill in 1985:
It's Lew Hooper on flute as Carole Ashby whistles at her butterflies
And when they flutter off, Peter Brace is left wondering centre pic what happened as he had no stunts to perform
Unlike waterlogged George Leech, as the villain of the piece brutally guns him down on the 007 Stage.

Bond morphs into Timothy Dalton and Miss Moneypenny into Caroline Bliss for The Living Daylights (1987):
But Q remains Desmond Llewelyn, although he's looking in the wrong direction to spot Ron Gregory on the right as one of his technicians
Another one is Gary Dean on the right, who tries to jump into Q's line of sight. Gary, in glasses and tuxedo, turns up again at the end of the film at the after-concert party
And an Aston Martin returns, with Walter Henry polishing it at the back as Q bangs his head on it.Last edited by Gerald Lovell; 29 November 2020, 04:29 PM.
