Sorry I posted that twice. I'm such a silly scatterbrain.

Does anyone know who this gentleman is in Star Wars: A New Hope playing an officer on the Death Star? I'm sure I've seen his face on this site before.

I'm convinced this is Guy Standaven in Superman. The chap in the white suit.

I wouldn't bet my pension on it, but yes I'd say it was Guy.

I love this picture of Aileen Lewis in Stand Up Virgin Soldiers (1977) she looks so haughty, so regal..

Yes, I agree. It's a wonderful picture. I love spotting her and her husband and thank you Mr Lovell for naming the Star Wars extra.

Here's the happy couple in Give My Regards to Broad Street from 1984. Aileen speaks but I think she's dubbed (again)

Proving what a more than capable actor he was, here's Guy Standaven in The Onedin Line. He's credited, appears in a couple of scenes and even does a good Yorkshire accent.

Here's Guy (on the far right) in the 1986 comedy Spies Like Us as a reporter.

It's bit difficult to tell from the picture. Can you make the image a bit bigger?

Here is a great shot of an elderly John Tatum, playing a past retirement age Police Detective, with the thankless task of following Nicholas Ball's Hazell, whilst the latter goes on an East End pub crawl in Hazell Works For Nothing from 1978

From The Best House in London (1968), Aileen Lewis is unimpressed by the entertainment on offer at a children's concert.

And husband Lewis Alexander looking even tinier than usual, as a newspaper man at The Times, from the same movie.
