    Michael Latham Powell was born this day in Bekesbourne,
    Kent in the year 1905

    Deborah Jane Kerr was born this day in Helensburgh, Scotland in the year 1921

    Quite fitting as she starred in a few of Powell’s films like Blimp & Black Narcissus and they had an affair

    Also ...
    On this day in 1998 Marius Goring died in West Sussex after suffering with the cancer

    also quite fitting as Marius starred in various of Powell’s films like AMOLAD & The Red Shoes
