    The Guardian obituary

Really sorry to read this. I remember her very fondly as "it's Only Sonia" from Fresh Fields and many other programmes. Over the last 30 years I wrote to her 3 times, the last time only about 18 moths ago, she sent me a signed photo each time and always wrote a nice letter as well. She was a lovely lady.
    R.I.P. Ann.

This is sad news. I remember her fondly from "City of The Dead" & also where she played a woman who Harold thinks he made pregnant in "Steptoe & Son".
She had a lovely, gentle quality about her. R.I.P. Ann.

I remember seeing Ann Beach at the Apollo Theatre,London with Robert Flemying in a play Called "Beth" around 1957/1958.I think this was her stage debut.

In April 2016 I interviewed her at her home in north London about the two plays she had done with Nicol Williamson at the Royal Court. Her memories were a bit limited, but it was over 50 years earlier, after all. She had an impressive collection of scrapbooks full of stills and reviews and she was indeed a lovely person.

I had no idea her daughter was Charlotte Coleman, Scarlet of Four Weddings fame. Mother and daughter were both great. Sadly missed.
