I'll always remember him as dear old Willy in 'The Troubleshooters', his character put on a softish affable front in the show, yet his brain was just as sharp and shrewd as anybody elses in the boardroom..

WIKI- In the late 1960s/early 1970s he was well known to British TV viewers for his portrayal of chief accountant Willy Izard, the "conscience" to hard-nosed oil company industrialist Brian Stead (played by Geoffrey Keen) in the BBC series The Troubleshooters (1965–72)

He had a wonderful career. I thought he was superb as the sinister Klove in "Dracula. Prince of Darkness".R.I.P.

        R.I.P.

A great and most welcome character actor guest artiste, from his superb finickety hotel manager in The Avengers episode "Room Without A View" to his machiavellian Cardinal in the Doctor Who 20th anniversary special "The Five Doctors", with the aforementioned Dracula: Prince of Darkness.
