This iconic series is getting another outing on True Entertainment this week. It starts tomorrow 13th March at 9pm with the first two episodes.

Sadly, checked episode 1 (because I'd recommended it to a member and wanted to check print) and the philistines at True Entertainment are showing this in 'widescreen' by chopping off the bottom & top of the frame and expanding what's left. Which not only will ruin the fine compositions of shots but makes everything look like it was shot in close up. It's not my TV as I changed frame to 4:3 and the picture looked pinched in. The 50th anniversary year too. Cultural barbarism. Poor old Pat is probably spinning in his grave.
