    Interesting. Larry Lamb covered the same ground in 2017 with the appropriately titled The Hatton Garden Job. I don't remember about it, except that Joely Richardson was quite dreadful and, given it was about the biggest heist on Britsh soil, the whole thing was a bit of a damp squib.

    Here's hoping Mr Caine et al can do something more exciting.

      Just went to see this.The writers try to pass of f a stream of invective as humour.They should go and see The League of Gentlemen to see how it's done.

          Just caught up with this and couldn't really see the point of making it. You are right, Orpheum, the filmmakers seem to use swearing instead of humour, the plot creaks along, none of the characters are the least bit likeable, and there is no sign of wit, tension or excitement. The best moments are the brief inserts of clips featuring cast members in the glory days but they just reminded how poor the current footage is.
