• A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square (1979)

I was watching this last night on Talking Pictures tv (Rated PG ) and a lot of the film was censored and scenes jumped all over the place,Some of the curse words were redubbed (the lines ......"F..k up" was redubbed as "Muck up") and "Get my rocks off" the word s" rocks off" was substituted with a car horn over it,The snooker scene with David Niven seemed missing and Elke Sommer's shower scene was short and her love scene with the lead actor Richard Jordan seemed not there either.

I take it this was a bad tv version print or a pre cut version by the distributer as it was not meant to be a PG cert?

According to the BBFC website, it appears there was an 'A' rated version at 110 minutes alongside the 'PG' video versions running at about 105 minutes:

If you click on "Feature" underneath where it says Related Work, it shows you the various video distributors for this film. It almost sounds like Talking Pictures was using one of these video versions.

Edit: For some reason, the link doesn't seem to work.

Cheers for that info and the link does works.and states "This work was cut. To obtain this category cuts were required but the details are not available."

So it seems there is no uncut version of this film anywhere :-(
