Monday, just watched "URGE TO KILL" on T.Pictures.
Unless my hearing is not what it used to be, Ruth Dunning starts the dialogue calling her son LOUIS, or LOUIE, then as the film progresses, he becomes "HUGHIE"!!
Oh, and also, I watched the new "STRIKE" series finale, and I am sure that the Land Rover 431 YUT was also the one used in the other BBC telly series "ENDEAVOUR" , last night.......
    Altrhough, I could be mistaken?
    Any comments on either?

Endeavour is not a BBC series! Vehicles for TV shows are supplied by specialist suppliers, so it would not be surprising for the same vehicles to turn up in different shows. Usually, however the registrations are fake ones.

It might be a nickname (although it's an odd one). My mother usually calls me Steve but when she wants to tell me off she calls me Stephen

Interesting premise for a continuing thread ....

Tommy Burnside became Frank Burnside (The Bill)
Not actually a character, but the Dad's Army bank started off as Martin's Bank, then became Swallow's Bank

Non-UK, Henry Blake's wife started out as Mildred (long before Col. Potter's unseen wife Mildred's character entered the scene), then became Lorraine. (M*A*S*H)

Alastair Sim plays Miss Millicent Fritton in The Belles of St. Trinian's in 1954, but by the time of Blue Murder at St. Trinian's three years later, he's Miss Amelia Fritton.
