  • Bank vault robber and poisoned Champagne.

Got a film 10 20 years ago about a couple who get tricked/blackmailed into performing a bank vault diamond robbery. Among the swag are a couple of bottles of champagne. The final scene is the bad guy getting on the train with the swag and taking a drink from the bottle. Unfortunately the magnum contains amphetamine or some other drug and he gets his just deserts

So where's the poison? Amphetamines aren't usually poisonous

    BTW Welcome to the forum

Perhaps the magnum contained amphetamine AND some other drug.

It might be Dollars (1971) AKA The Heist, starring Goldie Hawn and Warren Beatty.

Hi thanks. That is the movie. The amphetamine is 2 bottles of liquid lsd. I was surprised it had Goldie Hawn. Saw the trailer and that's the one.

Good old Scott Brady to be correct. Great American character actor and brother of All American Heavy and genuine mentalist Lawrence Tierney.
