  • Landfall (1949)

Talking Pictures TV had this Michael Denison film on the other day. Some lovely pastoral locations, supposedly near the south coast. Any location-sleuths out there know where they were?

Thanks for this. I was also wondering about scenes later in the film where, in a romantic montage, the lead character and his girlfriend were shown enjoying time in glorious countryside.

        Hi Alan
Although I managed to ID the 2 airfields used during the filming I never did get round to trying to ID the actual location of the country pub etc.
Presumably not too far from the South Downs LOL - it is a gorgeous area - I lived down there for many years.
