    An incredibly gifted man. Interesting to note in that article... "Technically, he didn’t compose – he couldn’t read or notate music. Rather, he described the process of writing it as “la-la-ing” to the arranger."

      There's publicity film of him supposedly "conducting the orchestra" for the score of one of his films, but he's really just windmilling/directing the traffic.
