  • Over There-'Hollywood In Britain by Alan Frank

This new book from Bearmanor media is described as the first comprehensive record of made in Britain B films featuring Americans on both sides of the camera.
sounds the ideal companion to TPTV.

Sounds right up my street. I think I'll drop a few hints for Fathers Day.

Having checked the preview on Amazon , this just seems to be a book of lists - little commentary, so nothing you can't get on the IMDB...

Alan Frank normally comes up with more than just lists. I'll wait for the reviews to come in but I'm hopeful for something decent.

The description uses the words "record and discussion" so clearly it's not just a list

I did and nowhere there does it make reference to being a book of lists.

I was checking on my phone before, which didn't give me a preview option. Now I'm on a computer I can see the format - It's laid out rather like Halliwell's Film Guide.
