billy farmer's original Tower Bridge thread on the old forum covered both films and television programmes, but as a film one has already been opened, I'll put this one here:

The bridge overlooking I think a Wapping location where Alf Garnett is arrested for being "Drunk in Charge of a Bicycle" in TILL DEATH US DO PART (tx: 19.11.1975).

Twenty Twelve (s02e06) Inexcluvity Day (2012) [UK]

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2262178...=nm_flmg_act_1

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty_Twelve

Quoting Wikipedia: "The series follows the trials of the management of the fictional Olympic Deliverance Commission (ODC), the body tasked to organise the 2012 London Summer Olympics."

A BBC comedy television series that ran for two seasons (2011-2012) with a total of 13 episodes.

This particular episode champions "Inexcluvity Day" which nobody knows what it actually is but includes a public relations event where an acorn is to be planted in view of the Tower Bridge.

    Found an excerpt:

"Replacing An Acorn With Chocolate? | Twenty Twelve | BBC Comedy Greats"

The Tower Bridge appears in the background (admittedly sometimes very small parts of it) in multiple scenes from 00:00:36 to 00:03:34

The Tardis "arrived" on Butler's Wharf Pier at te end closest to the Tower Bridge. The adjacent long building running alongside the wharf is a prime location in this serial.

Back in the 50's there used to be a TV series called Dial 999 with Robert Beatty which I think might have opened up with a view of the Thames and possibly Tower Bridge. Not seen it for ages so the memory might be a bit sketchy.

Dr. Who s01e04 Aliens of London (2005)

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0562985/

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aliens_of_London

When reminiscing about her adventure with the Doctor Rose sadly comments: "I've seen all that stuff up there - the size of it and I can't say a word. Aliens and spaceships and things - and I'm the only person on planet Earth that knows they exist." Just then a large and very noisy (the oversized truck horn blasts are a nice touch) out of control alien spacecraft thunders by low overhead, careers past the Tower Bridge (which appears from 00:06:24-00:06:34), side swipes Big Ben and finally crashes into the Thames. And then the situation gets really hectic!

    Britain's Greatest Bridgess01e02 Tower Bridge (2016) [Channel 5]

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6203708/?ref_=fn_al_tt_3

There may some question as to why this entry exists since it is a documentary rather than a drama but it is still a tv series episode that includes at least ONE scene showing the Tower Bridge.

For once no image(s) need to be included since the entire episode is on the Tower Bridge (including glimpses which appear in the opening credits). First shown on October 21, 2016.

Quoting the narrator starting at 00:01:00 (and backed up by the obligatory stirring music):

"In the heart of London there's a unique monument - Tower Bridge. The most famous bridge in the world, and a true British icon. Completed in 1894, almost 65 meters high, and spanning 268 meters across the river Thames. London's only opening bridge has become an international symbol of Britain and it's capital.
